Drone Cinematography for Genemo: Filming "Adventure" on the Isle of Skye
Swiss EDM producer Genemo (Dennis Liechti) traveled to Scotland to film the music video for his single “Adventure,” a track that has already surpassed half a million streams. After seeing my previous work—“From Glenfinnan to Skye”, Dennis decided to hire me for this project. While his Swiss film crew, Boesi Productions, managed the ground-based production, they required a specialist for the aerial visuals. I was brought on as the local drone operator to capture the high-altitude perspectives that were central to the project’s creative vision.

One of the standout moments of this collaboration was the technical synergy between the Swiss team’s ground narrative and my aerial work. By using gear capable of withstanding the Skye elements, we secured rock-steady footage that would have been impossible with standard consumer drones. From the 3:00 AM start to the final shots at the waterfall, the project was a perfect example of how specialized equipment and local knowledge can overcome difficult filming conditions.
