I recently collaborated on a visually striking music video project for Denis Latisev’s track, “Oameni”. The production was led by director Octavian Malai from Kobzzon Lab, bringing together a creative team from Romania. After seeing my previous location work, the team hired me as their drone specialist to join the production from Scotland. Our goal was to use Iceland’s extraordinary natural stage—including its vivid green plains and powerful waterfalls—to elevate the visual narrative of the song.

Iceland’s environment is as challenging as it is beautiful, requiring precise planning for every flight. Operating with a professional drone platform built for stability, I focused on capturing dynamic sequences that matched the emotional tone of the music. By carefully timing our movements for optimal light and composition, we achieved smooth, cinematic footage even in demanding weather. Every frame was designed to do more than show scenery; we used thoughtful motion to deepen the narrative, resulting in a video that feels both epic and intimate.
